Adventure and discovery was the enticement that drew Lee Elders to this wild lawless land; the supernatural world of the Shuara that live in a mystical realm of ayahuasca-induced visions where the ethereal world is encased within our third dimensional reality. Along the way he discovered his true self - his Kakarma. However incredible some of the incidents may seem this is a true story.

Lightbulb Donkey Sanctuary

Hi, everyone,

My family & I don't exchange material gifts at Christmas -- we honor one another with a donation to the charity of our individual choice.

I'd like to encourage everyone to think of your loved ones' favorite "causes" and to maybe skip a trip to the mall this season and make a contribution to a worthy cause in their name.

Love,
Lura

Default That Girl!

I have already made my annual contribution to That Girl! I send one every year to St. Judes.

I have a neighbour who told me that she buys people one of those Amaryllis bulbs – and then she gives people that with a note telling them she’s donated to a charity as well (which she does).

She says that this way as the flower grows they can look at it and be reminded of what their donation (gift) has done throughout the year.

I can’t figure out if that’s nice or controlling somehow or maybe just the result of the fact she’s a teacher . . . or a Taurus. All the Tauruses I’ve known have been pretty, well, you know . . .Taurean.

I really like the idea of sending the plant along with the donation notification-- thanks, free!

Freesia, I like your friend's idea to give an 'Amaryllis bulb' because when they blossom it is so dramatic and a beautiful illustration of love; it's better than cut flowers because it could almost last indefinitely and it is not fattening or bad for your health like candy or wine, thank you for a great concept!
Love,
Di
